Abstract:
Posterolateral corner (PLC) injuries are uncommon injuries often associated with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) lesions. Several difficulties, including graft, femoral tunnel convergence, and the need for multiple fixation devices, complicate the combined ACL and PLC reconstruction. The purpose of this Technical Note is to describe a combined ACL and PLC reconstruction technique, using hamstrings and peroneus longus autologous grafts, in which the same femoral tunnel for the ACL and fibular collateral ligament reconstruction is used.
