Exercise-induced brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity changes before and after transcatheter aortic valve replacement

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) acutely increases arterial stiffness, measured by brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV). However, exercise stress testing reveals improved vascular endothelial function after TAVR, as indicated by decreased baPWV.
