Real-World Impact on Postoperative Vomiting by Changing Anesthesia Regimens in Children Undergoing Strabismus

Transitioning to propofol/opioid total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) with dexamethasone (DEX) significantly reduced postoperative vomiting (POV) in pediatric strabismus surgery. Adding ondansetron (OND) to this regimen did not further decrease POV incidence.
