Abstract:
Tessier 10 craniofacial cleft is a rare congenital craniofacial malformation characterized by a full-thickness defect in the middle segment of the upper eyelid, accompanied by a discontinuity of the ipsilateral brow arch. This case report describes a 17-month-old female patient with a history of intracranial lipoma and congenital atrial septal defect who underwent surgical repair for a congenital full-thickness defect of the right upper eyelid. The surgical procedure utilized a V-Y advancement flap combined with a trapezoidal rotation flap for defect repair. Postoperative results demonstrated a natural and satisfactory palpebral shape and closure. This case introduces a phenotype of the Tessier 10 cleft, and the personalized flap design provides a new option for repairing congenital upper eyelid defects in similar patients.
