    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the effects of permeable (holey) silicone tubes on nerve regeneration patterns.
    • To compare nerve regeneration in holey tubes versus impermeable tubes and normal nerves.

    • Nerve stumps were placed in silicone tubes with macroscopic holes.
