High GVHD Prevalence in Travel-Based SCT despite Young Patients and HLA Matching

International stem cell transplant (SCT) patients returning home face a high prevalence of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), even with favorable factors. Further research is needed to understand contributing factors and improve care for these patients.
