Age impacts the accuracy of the FIB-4 liver fibrosis test and its likelihood ratios (LRs). This study found that while diagnostic accuracy showed a non-significant trend towards decrease with age, LRs demonstrably declined, indicating age distorts FIB-4 test estimations.
