A randomized trial of simultaneous versus sequential pneumococcal vaccination in elderly

Simultaneous pneumococcal vaccination (PCV13 and PPSV23) did not improve memory B cell responses compared to sequential or single PPSV23 vaccination in elderly individuals. All vaccination schedules were found to be safe and well-tolerated.
