Saline flushing to prevent circuit clotting during CRRT without anticoagulant: a randomized controlled study

Frequent saline flushing in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) does not prevent circuit clotting and may increase hypotension. Anticoagulant-free CRRT with less frequent flushing is recommended for critically ill patients.
