Abstract:
Electrochemical nanosensors with high spatiotemporal resolution are important tools for single-cell analysis. However, it remains a great challenge to prepare electrochemical nanosensors with excellent and highly reproducible performance. Herein, we propose a novel strategy to assemble electrochemical nanosensors through functionalized nanowires prepared by utilizing porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) as the template. By premodifying the inner walls of AAO with platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs) and depositing carbon through chemical vapor deposition (CVD), Pt NPs-modified nanowires with uniform and adjustable dimensions were produced in bulk after etching the template. Nanosensors assembled by as-prepared nanowires exhibited highly reproducible and stable electrochemical performance, enabling accurate intracellular measurements while significantly minimizing the deviations due to the individual difference of each nanosensor. This study successfully achieved the controllable and reproducible preparation of electrochemical nanosensors and provided a robust tool for single-cell electrochemical analysis.
