Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 5-kinase I alpha (PIP5K1α) plays a crucial role in asthma pathogenesis by influencing immune responses, airway hyper-responsiveness, and remodeling. Targeting PIP5K1α presents a promising therapeutic strategy for asthma.
