Summary

Omega-3 fatty acid supplementation did not significantly impact brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), fatigue, or physical activity in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. A potential gender-specific anti-inflammatory effect of omega-3s warrants further research.
