Reliability of left ventricular global longitudinal strain across acquisition and analysis techniques: a prospective

Left ventricular global longitudinal strain (GLS) is reproducible across 2D and 3D echocardiography methods. However, 3D GLS is lower than 2D GLS and should not be used interchangeably.
