Virtual reality simulation training for health professions trainees in gastrointestinal endoscopy

Virtual reality (VR) simulation training for endoscopy may improve independent procedure completion compared to no training. However, evidence is insufficient to recommend VR training as a replacement for conventional patient-based endoscopy training.
