Australian childhood vaccination coverage saw a slight decrease in 2022 due to COVID-19 pandemic impacts, with greater declines observed in Indigenous children. Adult vaccination rates increased, possibly due to improved reporting, but remain suboptimal, necessitating further research into barriers and uptake strategies.
