Summary

This study reports the first case of an inverted cyclops lesion after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair. Prompt recognition and surgical removal of this rare complication are crucial for restoring knee extension and function.

Area of Science:

  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • Sports Medicine
  • Biomedical Research

Background:

  • Cyclops lesions are a known complication after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, typically presenting as fibrous nodules that restrict knee extension.
