Two triphenylamine-based layer MOFs, Zr-TCA (H3TCA = 4,4',4''-tricarboxyl triphenylamine) and Zr-NBC (H3NBC = 4',4''',4'''''-nitrilotris-([1,1'-biphenyl]-4-carboxylic acid) were constructed for photogeneration of H2O2. Experiments showed that both of them exhibit high performance, which could be attributed to the abundant exposed active sites of their 2D structures.
