Association between circulating selenium levels and arterial stiffness: a nationwide cross-sectional study

Circulating selenium (Cse) levels show a complex relationship with arterial stiffness, indicated by high pulse wave velocity (ePWV) and atherogenic index of plasma (AIP). Lower Cse levels correlate with reduced ePWV, while higher levels increase it.
