Background:

Immediate complete dentures (ICDs) are vital for dental patients, offering comfort and aesthetic improvements.
Research on ICD fabrication methods is limited, necessitating a review of clinical protocols.
A systematic review is required to assess current practices in immediate oral rehabilitation.

Purpose of the Study:

To systematically review and analyze clinical data on the effectiveness of immediate complete dentures (ICDs).
To investigate the clinical protocols employed in the fabrication and management of ICDs.
To identify best practices for immediate oral rehabilitation.

Main Methods:

Systematic review adhering to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines.
Comprehensive literature search across PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, and Web of Science databases.
PICO framework (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) used for study selection and analysis.

Main Results:

Initial search identified 2529 studies; 19 articles met inclusion criteria after rigorous screening.
Included studies were analyzed qualitatively.
Data from 19 relevant articles were synthesized to evaluate ICD effectiveness and protocols.

A well-defined clinical protocol is essential for preparing immediate complete dentures (ICDs).
