Abstract:
In lymphoma, 18 F-FDG PET/CT is commonly used for diagnosis; however, in this case, 68 Ga-FAPI-46 PET/CT also demonstrated significant uptake, suggesting its potential in detecting lymphoma-related desmoplastic reactions. The patient, presenting with pericardial effusion and elevated inflammatory markers, was ultimately diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) through histopathology. This case highlights the complementary role of 68 Ga-FAPI PET/CT alongside 18 F-FDG PET/CT in lymphoma diagnosis, offering additional insights into tumor characteristics and prognosis.
