Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination during the peri-conception period is not linked to an increased risk of birth defects (BDs). This finding offers reassurance for women of childbearing age considering HPV vaccination before or during early pregnancy.

- Exposure to HPV vaccine during the peri-conception period does not appear to elevate the risk of birth defects.

- This study provides evidence supporting the safety of peri-conception HPV vaccination.
