Abstract:
Organic-functionalized crystalline Si with abundant organic functional groups on the surface are prepared in an ionic liquid system using organosilanes as precursors; after annealing, the derived Si/C composites with uniform carbon coating demonstrate outstanding electrochemical performance as anode materials in lithium-ion batteries.
