Proton transfer reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS) breath analysis detected distinct volatile organic compound (VOC) features in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients, showing promise for non-invasive diagnosis. Further studies are needed for clinical confirmation.
