Abstract:
Hepatic lymphoma is treated differently from other focal liver lesions. Familiarity with common manifestations enables early diagnosis and appropriate management, which improves prognosis and potentially avoids surgery or liver-directed therapy. Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography can provide valuable imaging information for diagnosing and differentiating hepatic lymphoma. The aim of this essay is to review the roles of conventional and contrast-enhanced ultrasound and illustrate common ultrasound findings in hepatic lymphoma.
