Cervical Discitis in a 20-Year-Old Female: A Case Report

Spondylodiscitis, particularly cervical discitis, is a rare infectious condition that can result in severe complications if untreated. This report highlights the rarity of this condition in our female patient's age group and its occurrence in the cervical region in the absence of underlying medical issues. Our article presents a unique case of a 20-year-old Syrian female in good health who developed cervical discitis. These remarkable findings emphasize the need for heightened awareness and prompt diagnosis of spondylodiscitis in atypical presentations to prevent severe complications.
