    Background:

    • Uterine fibroids (myomata) can distort the uterine cavity, impacting fertility and surgical planning.
    • Hysterography is a common imaging technique used to evaluate the uterine cavity before and after myomectomy.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare pre- and postmyomectomy hysterograms in patients undergoing surgical removal of uterine fibroids.
    • To assess the diagnostic value of preoperative hysterography in predicting myomectomy feasibility and outcomes.

    Main Methods:

    • Retrospective comparison of hysterograms from 12 patients before and after myomectomy.
    • Evaluation of uterine cavity shape and size, and fallopian tube patency.

    Main Results:

    • The uterine cavity returned to normal shape and size in 11 out of 12 cases post-surgery.
