Association Between Long-Term Proton Pump Inhibitor Use and Low-Risk Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors

Long-term proton pump inhibitor (PPI) use may be associated with less aggressive gastric neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). This suggests a potential new classification (type 4) for PPI-associated NETs, distinct from sporadic types.
