Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the effectiveness of a smartphone application, WExercise, in enhancing PA among cancer survivors.
  • To assess the impact of WExercise on exercise behavior, capacity, quality of life, and multi-process action control (M-PAC) constructs.

Main Methods:

  • An assessor-blind, 2-arm randomized controlled trial involving 98 physically inactive cancer survivors.
  • Intervention group used the WExercise app with automated lessons based on the M-PAC framework.
