The CSF-BAM assay, developed by Pearlman, Wang, and colleagues, integrates the detection of somatic mutations, genome aneuploidy, and B- and T-cell receptor clonality from a single cerebrospinal fluid DNA library to increase the sensitivity of cerebrospinal fluid to diagnosis and track brain tumors.
