Ultra-low Pt nanoparticles on self-supported monolithic Ni3B toward efficient electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution
None:
Ultra-low Pt content have been successfully loaded on Ni3B supports by a facile impregnation method. Pt/Ni3B exhibits hydrogen evolution performance comparable to commercial Pt/C, achieving high current densities (j > 100 mA cm-2) in 0.5 M H2SO4. Theoretical calculations revealed that the excellent performance arises from the modified electronic properties of Pt/Ni3B.
