    Summary

    Small Incision Lenticule Extraction (SMILE) using the VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser is safe and effective for vision correction. This study of 1,500 eyes shows excellent visual outcomes and refractive accuracy for myopia and astigmatism.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the visual and refractive results of 1,500 eyes treated with SMILE using the VisuMax 800.
    • To determine the safety and efficacy of this specific laser system for myopia correction.
