Robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) offers reduced postoperative pain and faster recovery compared to video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for thymectomy. This robotic approach provides significant patient-centered benefits, especially in the early recovery phase.
