Summary

Cardiac surgery patients with mesenteric ischemia show elevated thrombin-anti-thrombin complex (TAT) and prothrombin fragments 1+2 (F1.2) levels, indicating a temporary hypercoagulable state. These markers may help identify coagulability changes post-cardiac surgery.
