Abstract:
Binswanger's disease (BD) is a rare vascular subcortical dementia characterized by small vessel ischemic changes in the white matter of the brain. The diagnosis is made from neurological and radiological study with discrimination from other cerebrovascular pathologies. Early diagnosis leads to effective treatment and follow-up, both resulting in better disease management and outcome.
