Abstract:
Natural enzymes serve as indispensable biocatalysts in diverse biomedical applications. However, their clinical utility is constrained by poor stability and high purification costs. With the innovation of nanotechnology, various engineered nanomaterials with excellent catalytic activity exhibit the advantages in mimicking natural enzymes. By combining with advanced platforms, nanozymes have been widely used in the field of cancer diagnosis and treatment in recent years. In this review, we have systematically introduced the mechanisms and applications of nanozymes toward in vivo cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as in vitro biomarker detection, alongside a comprehensive summary of their emerging application potential in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
