Abstract:
The electronic modulation via surface functionalization and structural engineering of interlayer spacing, as a dual-pronged design framework, offers fundamental insights into ion-storage physics and a roadmap for high-performance MXene-based anode materials for use in alkali metal-ion batteries (AMIBs).
