Abstract:
To promote the strategic positioning of Guizhou's "four regions and one highland" and regional sustainable development, it is crucial to strengthen the synergistic governance of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion, and economic growth. Based on data of Guizhou cities from 2016 to 2022, the STIRPAT panel data model and Gini coefficient were used to assess the synergistic effect of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion, and economic growth in Guizhou, and the gravitational model and geographically weighted regression model were used to analyze the strength of spatial connection between cities in Guizhou and to explore the path of synergistic governance. The results follow: ① Guizhou maintained a fluctuating upward trend in the synergistic development of carbon reduction, pollution reduction, green expansion, and economic growth, and the synergistic difference of cities gradually decreased. ② The spatial linkage intensity of Guizhou showed the pattern of the Guiyang and Zunyi double core radiating to surrounding cities, and the spatial linkage gradually improved. ③ Policy guidance and transformation of digital intelligence can positively pull the level of synergistic development of Guizhou, but the current stage of Guizhou's industrial structural adjustment is not reasonable, and it hinders the synergistic development of Guizhou. The results of the study provide theoretical reference for the construction of ecological civilization in southwest China.
