Melioidosis in Mali: a retrospective observational study

Melioidosis, a serious bacterial infection, was confirmed in 31 young children in Mali, with a high mortality rate. This study highlights the urgent need for better diagnostics and public health strategies to combat this neglected tropical disease in Africa.
