Herein, a hierarchically porous AgPd/HP-UiO-66-NH2 is fabricated for photothermal catalysis, in which AgPd NPs can not only show photothermal conversion ability, but also promote the high chemo-selectivity of Pd sites due to its synergistic effect. Furthermore, the hierarchically porous amino-MOFs enable this catalyst to response for visible light thanks to the introduction of amino group and reduce the mass transfer resistance becuase of its porous structure. Therefore, AgPd/HP-UiO-66-NH2 shows excellent catalytic performance under illumination and room temperature.
