Non-Cirrhotic Steatotic Liver Disease is Associated With Impaired Muscle Function: A Cross-Sectional Study

Patients with steatotic liver disease (SLD) exhibit impaired muscle function, even before cirrhosis develops. This muscle dysfunction is linked to the liver-muscle axis and is independent of age, BMI, or energy balance.
