Patients may present with significant pain and morbidity secondary to compression of the axillary nerve around the shoulder. In patients with evidence of compressive neuropathy of the axillary nerve, surgical release is indicated. Current techniques include open or arthroscopic intra-articular variants, predisposing to blind spots throughout the course of the axillary nerve during dissection. This Technical Note provides an arthroscopic, all extra-capsular approach to axillary neurolysis.
