Summary

This study evaluates umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stromal cell (UC-MSC) patches to improve fetal surgery outcomes for myelomeningocele (MMC), a spinal cord defect. Preliminary results suggest improved motor and urinary function with no adverse effects.
