Knee arthroplasty failure is associated with significant systemic multimetal exposure

Patients undergoing revision total knee arthroplasty (TKA) show elevated systemic levels of cobalt, chromium, and other metals. Constrained implants are associated with higher metal levels, suggesting a link to implant wear and patient exposure.
