Bloodstream infections in Cameroon: a systematic review and meta-analysis

- High resistance rates were observed for extended-spectrum cephalosporins, while carbapenems showed lower resistance. Staphylococci exhibited over 30% resistance to all tested antibiotics.

- Strengthening laboratory capacity and implementing BSI surveillance are essential for targeted prevention and treatment strategies.
