Prevalence and Risk Factors for Pearsonema plica Infection in Hunting Dogs in Serbia

Summary

Pearsonema plica, a nematode, was found in 20.45% of Serbian hunting dogs. Higher infection rates were linked to hunting activity and infrequent deworming, highlighting the need for increased clinical awareness of urinary capillariosis in dogs.
