Introduction:
The advancement of the digital technology has fundamentally transformed orthodontic treatment, particularly through the utilization of transparent aligner therapy and remote monitoring devices. This study assesses the efficiency, patient compliance, and clinical results of digital orthodontic monitoring compared to conventional in-office visits.
Materials And Methods:
Patients receiving clear aligner treatment participated in a retrospective study comparing those monitored remotely with AI-assisted applications to those monitored using traditional methods. The analyzed primary components included treatment duration, frequency of in-person appointments, patient compliance, and overall satisfaction.
Results:
The findings indicated that while treatment efficacy remained consistent, computerized monitoring substantially decreased the number of in-office appointments.
Conclusion:
The digital monitoring group demonstrated increased patient satisfaction and compliance, highlighting the potential of remote orthodontic therapy to enhance access and treatment efficiency.
