Aims:
This in vitro experiment was performed to determine the influence of different irrigating solutions i.e. 3% hydrogen peroxide, 5.25% sodium hypochlorite, 2% chlorhexidine, and Bio-Pure MTAD on the wettability of two different resin-based sealers.
Methods And Material:
Forty dentin samples were prepared from single-rooted premolars separated into 5 groups (n = 8) on the basis of irrigation regimen used. Each group is divided into 2 subgroups containing 4 samples in each.
Results:
The AH Plus sealer significantly wetted the dentin surface better than Real Seal SE. The 2% Chlorhexidine group (Gr IV) gave the best wettability with both sealers.
