Abstract:
In this review we provide a brief description of recently published articles addressing topics relevant to pediatric cardiologists. Our hope is to provide a summary of the latest articles published recently in other journals in our field. The articles address: 1-, predictors of high exercise capacity in Fontan patients, 2- cardiac MRI parameters associated with arrhythmic sudden cardiac events (SCE), 3- improvement in frequency of interventions for pulmonary vein stenosis with the initiation of Sirolimus, and 4- the use of fetal echocardiography to detect congenital heart disease as early as 10-15 weeks of gestation.
