Abstract:
The Oxford Classic Epithelial-to-Mesenchymal Transition (OxC-EMT) score identifies a high-risk subgroup of patients with high-grade serous carcinoma with inferior survival. This commentary discusses the evaluation of high-grade serous carcinoma biomarkers in context and the important steps in transition from a prognostic to a validated predictive biomarker to inform clinical utility.
