Strain echocardiography (SE) after heart transplantation (HTx) shows right atrial contraction strain (RASct) can help detect acute cellular rejection (ACR). This method may exclude subclinical ACR in HTx patients.

Conclusions:
- Reduced right ventricular strain and RASct are associated with ACR post-HTx.
- Right atrial strain analysis, particularly RASct, shows promise for excluding subclinical ACR in heart transplant recipients.
